My Story
Fundraisers! Ugh. Who wants to do that. Besides we just done with our HUGE Boy/Cub Scout popcorn sale. Well, we'll do our best to sell some Scentsy and ask people as we deliver if they would like to order. That day changed how I thought of myself. Our sons do a great job, me, no way! It took a few months of my son (who is ten) asking me if I would join because he wanted to do it as a job, before I would consider being a Scentsy consultant. Finally, got the nerve to give it a shot. So with my family's blessing, I hesitantly pulled out the credit card, thought,well, at least I'll get some nice products at a discounted rate if this doesn't work out. We (and I say we because my family is in it with me, helping to sort orders, label, giving me space to do my thing) have been at it for six months and this ride has been a blast!
The sad thing is, I could have been doing this years ago. There is a woman who worked with my husband who used Scentsy in her office all of the time. We loved going in and smelling what she was warming and looking through her stash. Now I get it!
There are five of us in our family and a dog and a snake. If it weren't for the dog, I'd be the only female in the house. We all have our favorite scents and type of scents. It's so difficult to choose just a few favorites because Scentsy makes some beautiful and true scents. And the craftsmanship on the warmers is incredible. In one of the sessions during Scentsy Family Reunion, we learned that 35 pairs of hands touch the Daisy Lantern warmer. I recently saw a Stargaze warmer up close and it is mesmerizing! The color seems to change as you change your vantage point. Our diffusers are truly works of art. I recently purchased a second shade for ours and it looks like stained glass, Entice is absolutely gorgeous. Kids and men aren't left with our products.
